Why this site exists

Most POS comparison sites monetise on referrals, so an owner researching prices gets funnelled toward whichever vendor pays the best commission. This site has no affiliate links and no sponsored placements, which lets it do something simpler instead: carry only the prices the vendors themselves publish, say which vendors publish nothing, and show the arithmetic on anything derived from them. Ten vendors, each dated to the day we read it. Where a figure cannot be sourced to the company that charges it, there is no figure.
